Assistant Manager- Cruiser’s in Riverbank

General Description

  1. Ability to perform data entry tasks on a daily basis. Enter all daily reports into PID without supervision.
  2. Ability to read and analyze Daily Cashier Close Reports, Loomis End of Day Reports, Close Daily Reports, Shift Reports, Daily Shift Reports, Daily ATM reports and any other reports and/or data relevant to completing the daily paperwork.
  3. Ability to:
    1. Compute and determine cause of cash variances in excess of the daily amount allowed.
    2. Properly and accurately prepare daily deposits in locations without Safe Point pickups.
    3. Run, compute, and analyze daily reports from the ATM and prepare and place proper amounts into ATM machine as required. Must be able to change paper in ATM printer.
    4. Run and enter all reports required from Lottery Terminal, including weekend and inventory reports.
    5. Compute, analyze and enter all data from Daily Roller Grill Logs, Waste Sheets and Inventory Adjustments and know when and where they are to be entered.
    6. Print payroll reports, accurately calculate hours, including holiday hours, and send payroll to HR in a timely manner.
    7. Prepare a weekly store schedule.
    8. Must be able to correctly make gas price changes in a timely manner.
    9. Must demonstrate the ability to correctly complete the Daily Inspection Report.
    10. Must demonstrate knowledge of and proper use and operation of the Emergency Shut-Off Switch and location and purpose of impact valves on the pumps.
    11. Must demonstrate ability to properly change paper in pump printers and Veeder-Root.
  4. Knowledge of paperwork to be sent to the office and to be retained at the store.
  5. Correctly enter invoices into PDI. The Assistant Manager must be able to compute, analyze, adjust and enter any invoices necessary without supervision.
  6. Must demonstrate knowledge of O&M Manual with reference to location, what is to be placed in this file, file longevity, availability and access to this file.
  7. Must demonstrate knowledge of the Training Manual with regards to content, use and purpose.
  8. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Business Plan with reference to such matters as spill containment, emergency notification procedures and evacuation plan.
  9. Must demonstrate the ability to properly fill out Accident/Injury Reports for both employees and non-employees. With reference to accidents or injuries the Assistant Manager must know the proper procedure for reporting any accidents or injuries, where to take or send employees involved in an accident and proper procedures in the event of non-employee accident or injury.
  10. Must have a working knowledge of Boyett Petroleum Employment Standards with particular emphasis on Standards for Convenience Store employees.

Customer Service Clerk- Central Valley Locations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Provide superior customer service to all customers.
  • Compute bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
  • Provide accurate change and receipts to customers.
  • Records amounts received and prepare reports of transactions.
  • Accurately record drops from cash drawer within company cash control policy.
  • Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand.
  • Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.
  • Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile
  • printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, and tax on monitor screen.
  • Stock and face floor merchandise, cigarettes, cooler and freezer items in store.
  • Ensure products are within code date and stock is properly rotated.
  • Clean shelves, displays, equipment, pumps and station inside and outside by dusting, sweeping, removing garbage and using cleaning products.
  • Preparation and monitoring of hot food items, coffee station, and fountain products to ensure products are readily available and within holding time limits for freshness.

Attention to detail is a must. The position duties include: dispatch fuel to customer stations; schedule common carrier drivers for deliveries throughout California and Nevada. Responsible to monitor inventory managed sites; take fuel delivery orders from customers, and company marketers; reconcile freight invoices; confirm delivery of fuel to customers; review fuel rack prices; receive on-call phone calls regarding deliveries, retain issues, etc., other duties as assigned.
