General Description:

Highly motivated individual for sales including qualifying and closing accounts.  Ideal candidate will have a proven work history and be valued and respected by their customers. Duties will include prospecting accounts to obtain credit applications, managing and completing the sales cycle, and account maintenance.


Job Duties:

Product knowledge and competitive product knowledge

  • Understanding the Voyager product, structure and relationship with U.S. Bank
  • Thorough understanding of competitive products; CFN, Fuel Man, Pacific Pride, WEX, FleetCor, Comdata, Branded Options, Wet Hose, On-Site Fuel Tank

Prospecting

  • Use of internet, data resources
  • Use of all leads
  • Self-generated leads
  • Use of sales tools such as Go To Meeting, FCO, Power Point

Sales Cycle for various prospects, time management 

  • Understanding how long the sales cycle is for various prospects; multiple office business, government etc.
  • Keeping the sales funnel mixed with small, medium and large businesses
  • Geographic prospecting vs. SIC code prospecting
  • Selling to the decision maker vs gate keeper
  • Manage a CRM, Excel spreadsheets, Word and other typical document to streamline and organize prospects to customers.

Completing the sales cycle

  • Obtain credit application, FCO enrollment, support data
  • Obtain card order
  • Insure accuracy of contacts, locations, phone, fax and emails
  • Thorough understanding of internal processes
  • Accurate and timely communication with fleet department support team; credit, customer service etc.
  • Insuring proper incentives applied

Account Maintenance

  • Follow up with customer as needed.
  • Offer additional service; maintenance/repairs
  • Referral mining

 


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide superior customer service to all customers.
  • Compute bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
  • Provide accurate change and receipts to customers.
  • Records amounts received and prepare reports of transactions.
  • Accurately record drops from cash drawer within company cash control policy.
  • Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand.
  • Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.
  • Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile
  • printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, and tax on monitor screen.
  • Stock and face floor merchandise, cigarettes, cooler and freezer items in store.
  • Ensure products are within code date and stock is properly rotated.
  • Clean shelves, displays, equipment, pumps and station inside and outside by dusting, sweeping, removing garbage and using cleaning products.
  • Preparation and monitoring of hot food items, coffee station, and fountain products to ensure products are readily available and within holding time limits for freshness.

Description
Successful candidate must be customer service focused. Must be able to work independently and possess a professional attitude. Must be excited to learn and grow with the company. Attention to detail is a must. The position duties include: dispatch fuel to customer stations; schedule common carrier drivers for deliveries throughout California and Nevada. Responsible to monitor inventory managed sites; take fuel delivery orders from customers, and company marketers; reconcile freight invoices; confirm delivery of fuel to customers; review fuel rack prices; receive on-call phone calls regarding deliveries, retain issues, etc., other duties as assigned.
