For over 80 years, Boyett Petroleum has been a trusted independent fuel supplier and distributor in the West, providing wholesale fuel sales, our proprietary Kwik Serv brand, petroleum management services, agricultural fuel sales, and the Cruise Americard fleet fueling program. We combine the strength of a large distributor with the personalized service of a family-owned business to deliver reliable, flexible fuel solutions.

    SC Fuels Acquisition

    Boyett acquired SC Fuels' branded distribution business expanding its 76, Shell, Sinclair, and Valero customer community.

  • 2023

    United Pacific Deal

    Boyett sold its 10 Cruiser convenience store service stations to United Pacific and acquired United Pacific's wholesale business, adding Shell and Marathon to its brand offering with approximately 120 branded dealer contracts and 50 unbranded accounts.

  • 2022

    Dale Becomes CEO

    Dale Boyett became the Chief Executive Officer of Boyett Petroleum and the President of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America, appointed to serve a 2-year term (2022-2024).

  • 2021

    Danielson Fuel Services

    Boyett acquired Danielson Fuel Services wholesale supply business, expanding its reach to Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. Established presence in Oklahoma with headquarters in Oklahoma City.

    Wesson Ranch Park

    Boyett funded the remodel of Wesson Ranch Park in Modesto.

  • 2014

    MCW Energy Acquisition

    Boyett purchased fuel distribution contracts for 90 Valero and 76 gas stations from MCW Energy Group, expanding in Southern California. The deal grew its network to more than 500 stations and increased sales to 400 million gallons per year, making Boyett the largest distributor of Valero on the West Coast.

  • 2011

    CRUISE Americard & Trucking Changes

    The company introduced the CRUISE Americard, a universal fleet fueling card accepted at over 320,000 locations nationwide. Boyett ceased its trucking division and sold its trucks to Williams Tank Lines.

  • 2008

    Toms Sierra & SIGMA President

    Boyett acquired wholesale distributor assets of Toms Sierra Company, reaching 110 branded accounts and marketing over 20 million gallons monthly. Carl Boyett became President of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (2008-2010).

  • 2007

    Gallo Center for the Arts

    With the support of Carl and Carole Boyett, the Gallo Center for the Arts, a state-of-the-art performance venue in Modesto, California, opened its doors.

    Dale Becomes President

    Dale Boyett assumed day-to-day responsibility for operating the company as President.

  • 1993

    Dale Joins the Business

    Carl's son, Dale Boyett, joined the company.

  • 1985

    Stan and Carol Retire

    Stan and Carol Boyett retired, and Carl took over as CEO.

  • 1980s

    10 Retail Stations

    Boyett operated 10 retail service stations from San Jose to Reno.

  • 1970

    Carl Joins Family Business

    Stan and Carol's son, Carl Boyett, joined the family business, helping the company to expand its wholesale distribution business for Valero, 76, ConocoPhillips, and ARCO.

  • 1962

    Richfield Oil Distributorship

    The Boyett's bought Richfield Oil distributorship in Modesto.

  • 1950s

    Barbour's Regal Stations

    Together, Stan and Walt built 6 service stations called Barbour's Regal Stations.

  • 1947

    Partnership with Walt Barbour

    Stan moved to Modesto from San Jose to partner with Walt Barbour to form a chain of Barbour Premium Gas Stations.

  • 1940

    Boyett Petroleum Founded

    Stan and Carol Boyett founded Boyett Petroleum. Both began their careers in the oil industry, Stan with Shell Oil Company and Carol with Standard Oil of California.
